Designing a data science platform - a user-centric approach (in cooperation with the European Central Bank)

Workshop in cooperation with the European Central Bank.

This workshop will provide you with an opportunity to get insights into the IT department of the ECB using a real business case. The ECB data science platform allows users to store and access data, produce models, publications and perform forecasting. The current platform has been in use since the foundation of the ECB. It’s time to innovate and move to a new platform!

Aim of the workshop: In this workshop you will learn to apply techniques for the creative resolution of problems and innovative design in the context of project management.

Description of the institution: The European Central Bank is an official EU institution at the heart of the Eurosystem and the Single Supervisory Mechanism. Over 2,500 staff from all over Europe work for the ECB in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. They perform a range of tasks in close cooperation with the national central banks within the Eurosystem and, for banking supervision, with the national supervisors within the Single Supervisory Mechanism.
