Behind the Scenes of a European Rating Agency

Workshop des Career Service der Goethe-Universität in Kooperation mit scope

Rating agencies are an essential part of business throughout the world, with companies, countries and funds being rated by agencies across the globe. While the impact of credit ratings on the global economy is well known, only few people have an understanding how a rating is developed.

In this workshop, the leading European Rating Agency Scope Group will provide you with first insights into how Scope develops ratings, assesses companies, countries and funds and how an European agency with German DNA differentiates itself from its American competitors. In addition, you will be part of a simulated rating process and have the chance to ask questions to Analysts in different business activities.
