Jobbeschreibung:

Tutors Wanted for Master's Orientation Days!

Dear Students,

We are looking for Master's students from the fields of Language, Humanities, and Cultural Studies, Psychology, Economics, Natural Sciences, and Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics to accompany and support international students during the Bachelor's Orientation Days. We are seeking candidates who speak very good German and English, are friendly, and have strong communication skills.

The two-day orientation program aims to make it easier for international students to start their studies and campus life in Frankfurt, and to provide them with an initial introduction to studying and working at a German university. In addition to comprehensive lectures and information sessions, the focus of the orientation days is on exchange and making first contacts with fellow students.

The tutors' task is to participate in the event and answer any questions the students may have. You will also be asked to lead a Q&A session, where you can answer specific questions about studying in your department. Please also share your own experiences about studying with the students.

  • The Master's Orientation Days will take place on October 1-2, 2025, from 9 a.m. to approx. 4 p.m.

The workload is 12-16 hours and will be remunerated at €14.11/hour (without a Bachelor's degree) or €15.29/hour (with a Bachelor's degree). A training session will be held in advance for all tutors and you will receive materials for preparation.

IMPORTANT! During the period of the orientation event, you may not be employed as a student assistant at Goethe University Frankfurt if you wish to be paid. However, you are welcome to volunteer and will receive a certificate of participation.

Do you feel that you know campus life well and would like to share your own experiences with new students?

Then send your application with a short CV by July 18, 2025 to: international-orientierung@uni-frankfurt.de

We look forward to your application!
