Investment Analyst

To support our continued growth, we plan to recruit a small number of talented graduates to join the Analyst programme commencing in Summer 2026.

 

About the role

  • An opportunity to join the investment team at Park Square, based in London. The role will involve analysing new investment opportunities in the UK and continental Europe across all of Park Square’s fund strategies.
  • Due to the small deal teams (2-3 investment professionals), Analysts play a key role during the investment process.
  • Responsibilities may involve:
    • Conducting deal analysis and due diligence on potential investment targets;
    • Preparing high quality screening materials and investment committee proposals;
    • Involvement in the structuring, legal documentation and deal closing processes;
    • Supporting senior investment professions in monitoring the firm’s portfolio companies; and
    • Working on firmwide strategic initiatives.
  • Analysts will provide direct support to senior investment professionals on transactions and are expected to have a view on investments from day one.
  • Analysts are encouraged to develop relationships with industry peers, sponsors, management teams, lawyers and investment bankers.

About the candidate

Applicants are expected, at a minimum, to possess the following attributes:

  • Exceptional academic credentials including a bachelorʼs degree or higher from an accredited university;
  • A good understanding of corporate finance and strong financial modelling skills;
  • A demonstrable interest in investing with relevant prior internships in leading private credit funds, investment banks, private equity firms or asset managers;
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and being a team player;
  • An ability to distil large quantities of information into a coherent thesis;
  • High attention to detail and an ability to prioritize;
  • Maturity and motivation to accept early responsibility in a buy-side environment; and
  • An ability to grasp new concepts quickly and a willingness to adapt to change.
