Robus Capital was founded in 2011 as an asset manager specializing in public and private debt of mid-sized companies in Europe. Today, Robus Capital manages assets under management of over EUR 1 billion from offices in London and Frankfurt. Our main investor base consists of institutional investors such as insurance companies, foundations, pension funds and family offices.

Role Overview

As a Working Student in the Operations Team, you will gain first-hand exposure to the operational backbone of a fundamental analysis-driven credit asset manager. The role’s main focus is on supporting reporting processes, performance measurement, and technology & systems support— with an emphasis on using existing tools and developing AI-driven workflows to improve efficiency and data quality.

The position is intended for an extended period (> 6 months) and in line with the applicable German tax regulation for working students, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting & Performance Measurement

• Support recurring internal and external reporting activities, including the design and set-up of new reporting requirements (data preparation, validation, reconciliation and formatting)
• Assist with performance measurement and analysis, benchmarking, and attribution workstreams
• Maintain and enhance reporting templates and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI)

Technology & Systems Support

• Support the team with systems and data workflows across the Operations environment
• Apply AI tools (particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem) to streamline reporting, automate recurring tasks, and improve productivity
• Contribute to process documentation and improvement initiatives (automation)

Fund Administration

• Provide operational support across selected fund administration activities (coordination, documentation, data maintenance)
• Support internal stakeholders and external service providers with operational follow-ups

We are looking for dedicated individuals who are eager to contribute in a hands-on operations role and learn in a challenging, dynamic environment.

You should ideally have:

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (e.g., in Finance, Business, Economics, Business Informatics, Data/Analytics, or a related field)
• Proficiency with AI tools and modern productivity workflows, especially in the Microsoft ecosystem and Power BI
• Very good Excel skills
• Programming skills are a plus (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA, or similar) to support automation and data handling
• A structured and detail-oriented mindset, high ownership and reliability
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
• Fluency in English and/or German
