A workshop offered by the Career Service of Goethe University in cooperation with The Motherson Group
Motherson Group, a global automotive Tier-1 supplier, will be hosting a hands-on case study in which participants will gain first-hand experience of how a competitive M&A process works. Based on a real transaction, the case provides a rare opportunity to apply analytical and valuation skills to the kind of work that takes place in deal teams. Participants will analyse a target company, build a valuation, formulate an "Investment decision", and gain insights into real life Corporate M&A.
Objectives:
The target of the workshop is to understand the structure and dynamics of a competitive M&A process. Participants will learn how a potential acquisition is assessed through commercial and financial analysis and will become familiar with key methods used for financial analysis, valuation, and investment decision-making.
