The European Business & Regulatory Compliance team is part of the Global Legal & Compliance and Risk Department. The team ensures that our business is in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Core responsibilities of the team include providing advice and training in relation to the Code of Ethics, regulatory reporting as well as the ongoing performance of compliance controls and monitoring activities.

The role is based in our Frankfurt office and is preferably for 24 months.

What you will do

• Assist the team with monitoring its hotline and inbox on Code of Ethics
• Assist the compliance team in the daily review of marketing communications and financial promotions to ensure adherence to regulatory standards across the EU
• Support periodically monitoring reviews of marketing materials and digital content (e.g., presentations, articles, social media, website content)
• Help with user access management, including onboarding/offboarding, regular access reviews, and coordination with IT/security teams
• Review of Personal Account Dealing and Gift & Entertainment daily requests
• Review, access and file Contract Notes shared by employees
• Conduct basic research on regulatory developments relevant to financial promotions (e.g., MiFID II, PRIIPs, ESG disclosures)
• Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Support team projects aimed at enhancing internal controls, workflows, and compliance processes
• Data analysis of the information in our systems for decision making
• Support and assist the other team members on projects as they arise.

What you bring

• Preferably a student in Legal, Business, Economics or similar studies
• Fluency in English is required, knowledge of German or further languages would be highly beneficial
• Basic knowledge of financial services and the various types of securities
• Practical experience in Compliance work would be beneficial
• Analytical mindset to perform data analysis for decision making
• Knowledge of tools used for data analysis (i.e. Excel), data visualization (i.e. Tableau, Power BI) and automation of processes (i.e. Power Automate)
• You are open-minded and able to work in a multinational team across Europe.
