Start Date  

Internships in Germany are between 3 months and 6 months long. You must be available for the entire internship duration.  

You can apply for one of three seasonal intakes: Spring, Summer or Autumn. Each intake offers a flexible start date within the timeframes listed below and the internship end date can be outside the timeframe. 

• Spring Intake Start Dates: January 1 – April 30, 2026  
• Summer Intake Start Dates: May 1 – July 31, 2026  
• Autumn Intake Start Dates: August 1 – December 31, 2026

About the DWS Internship   

The DWS Internship offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experiences through individual projects, speaker sessions and networking events. About the Team 

Our Anti Financial Crime (AFC) & Compliance teams cover control functions for AFC and Compliance owned risk types and act as trusted advisors that are vital to protect DWS from financial and reputational harm. We collaborate across all divisions, cultivating a strong compliance culture within our organization to reinforce dedication to financial regulations and ethical business practices. 

As our DWS Intern, you will: 

• Support daily business processes as well as participate in regional or global projects with cross-divisional teams 
• Assist in delivering appropriate products and/or solutions to meet the needs of your assigned Division, contributing to cross-divisional initiatives 
• Develop knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, exercising independent judgment in the process 
• Help implement policies and processes in alignment with divisional strategies and regulatory standards 
• Conduct research using various internal and external databases and build and sustain relationships with peers and business partners
